A/N: I was listening to Evanescence the other day and had to think of Kagura when I listened to Breathe no more… The second part deals with Kagura’s death scene. I didn’t copy it exactly, I just kept the dialogue like it was in the anime.

Hi everyone. I recently joined this community, but there doesn't seem to be much action going on around here. I decided to offer up a video I made of Kagura and Shesshomaru. My first one, so it's probably not that great...   Oh, and sorry if the quality really sucks.

David Kaye, Sesshoumaru's dub voice actor, confirmed at TFCon that he is not going to be reprising his role in The Final Act. Full details are here. Still no word on who will be replacing him. Hopefully they will find a good vocal match, although I don't know if anyone will ever be able to really take his place.

Just a small offering from a newbie to the fandom. Feel free to delete this post if I'm breaking any rules. That said, I hope you guys enjoy this!

My sister and I were at the library today and we stumbled upon volume 38 of the manga. (My first thought was, "Hey, this is finally out? It only took them 5 years!" XD) Flipping through it, I noticed that the image they chose for the title page was this one. I was struck by that choice, since they usually use images of key scenes for the title page. Since that volume also housed important developments with Hakudoshi and Kohaku, the implication of the choice of that image seems even stronger to me.

Maybe I'm overanalyzing this, but it just seems to me that a lot of people on an official level with the series really notice/like the relationship between Sesshoumaru and Kagura. I mean, I always have considered their relationship to be really key to understand Sessh as a character, and I also feel that chapter 374 is one of the most critical chapters in the manga. So much about Sesshoumaru's character and the growth he goes through as a person hinge on the events of that chapter. But it seems like within the fandom, people try to downplay that significance. So whenever I see something like this, or like when they play up their interactions in advertisements or on the opening/ending scenes in the anime... I get really excited, because it makes me feel like we really aren't off-base. Even though she died, even though they didn't end up together, I feel like there really was something there. Thoughts?

Hi guys. It's me, your failmod. Sorry I've been so neglectful of you. I'd like to get the ball rolling on the monthly challenges again! Even though we didn't have a lot of submissions for our February challenge, I thought the submissions we did get were great, and it seemed to drum up a lot of interest in the comm!

So, for June, our theme will be Summer. Like last time, you can participate in any way that sparks your creativity, be it a drabble/fanfic, icons or other graphics, fanart, music videos, etc. Let's get those creative juices flowing!

I would love to have more input about what you would like to see from the monthly challenges. Would you like to continue just using it as a form of inspiration? Or would you like to see a contest? Do you have any theme suggestions? Any feedback you may have would be great to hear!

Welcome to our first monthly challenge at sesskagura! This month's theme is Valentine (hey, it's appropriate!). This month, you can respond to this challenge in whatever way best sparks your creativity: a drabble/fanfic; icons or other graphics; fanart; music videos; what have you!

Here are some hints to help you with the challenge, since I know bring V-Day into feudal times might be tough:

--Your challenge response can be something that actually mentions Valentine's Day, or it could be something that draws off an aspect of Valentine, such as the colors red and pink.
--In Japan, it is traditional for a gift to be given to the man who holds the woman's affection (usually chocolate, but sometimes something else is given). The gift-giving aspect is one theme that you could draw from in your response.
--Although Inuyasha takes place centuries before the Valentine's Day tradition emerged in Japan, remember that the heroine of our story is a modern-day time traveler. Word may have spread amongst her acquaintances...
--If you are writing a fanfic, remember that you could always write an AU or spin-off that takes place in modern times.
--P.S. this goes without saying, but remember to make Sesshoumaru/Kagura's relationship central to your challenge responses!
